When You Look Me In The Eye: After a long time

Hey peeps....been ages since last blogged...anyways right after my last post, the next day i was off to India...had a lot of fun there and well i celebrated my legal 18 there...though in India they dun give a damn about the age thing....

Might be wondering why updating now, like look at the time....exactly one only sleeps when he desires to or needs to...LOL...random...

anyways back to reporting on trip to India....basically one of the main reasons for going there was cuz my grandfather was sick.....just had an operation done and well he lost 16kilos...yup so i left on 13th evening....reached Mumbai at arnd 1130 (1 SG time)....got out of the airport say around 1230...we werent exactly suppose to be staying in Mumbai but due to the time, we had no choice but to go to my dads cousin place to stayover....just 15 km away from the airport so by right we should reach home in max 2o min...but due to stupid traffic, took us close to 1hr+...transport system there is AWESOME...and when i mean awesome i mean AWESOME...why so?....

most common means of transport there is the auto-rickshaw, which is very similar to the tuk tuk in thailand.....then there is also the bus....this is the awesome part.....though there are busstops, i dunno why they were made for as the buses merely slows down near the busstops and people basically hop on to moving buses...yes...the bus just moves on and we just run and climb up....i have done this before and tat is why i said it was awesome....the feeling of damn i dun wanna miss that bus, and you start running for it...

more awesome things in India.....best drivers in the world are from India and China...however i would still say India is better...why cuz there are litteray no lane markings on the road and the mindset of the drivers is basically,"I dun care wat happens to you, all i want is to go infront of u" and this mindset repeats for every car he passes....well in China at least there was some organization, in India is like all hell break lose....and this was at night....so just imagine wat happens in the afternoons....cars are barely kissing each other and they are driving super calmly, with no tension...

so anyways, got back home talked around a bit and slept.....next morning left for Pune, where my dads, brothers live...tat very same night, was the office annual function...was a long 3hr ride to their place....1st we went to the youngest uncles house, as my other cousins were having their main exams coming up....their Alevels and Olevels...

so well i had already been to my youngest uncles house before, but it was kinda almost being finished building....its a 3-storey bunglow, with a small lawn where the kids can play, and on the other side is a small swimming pool. 1st floor was basically the kitchen tv-room, guest room, hall, dining rooom......2nd floor was master bedroom, 1 cousins room and another cousins room...3rd floor was gym, guest room, mini home cinema room(12 seater) and terrace.....freakin huge now isnt it....say around 14,000 sqft...

anyways we basically rested during the day as at night was the function....all performance were done by the employees themselves.....after the performance was dancing....well it was more of clubbing,excluding skimpy clothed girls...well u see its an office party with quite a number of kids.....erm tat kid doesnt count me...

after tat then everyday cousins will be just fooling around, hanging out in cafes and mall....a very funny thing happened during the trip....ok when is my birthday....19th dec....well but there was a cake cutting on the 18th night and my aunts parents house....after which the younger cousins had to go home sleep cuz they had a camp the following day while the rest of us went on for a movie....my first movie which went so wrong......well usually all movies i watch in theatres are nice...but this one wasnt....anyways next day..

on the 19th we left for trip to fake india....well there were trees there, we werent allowed to litter, it was similar to singapore..basically not India..haha...19th basically we roamed around at the place....its actually a city in a valley.....weather was awesome nice....pleasantly cold, and all the old mums and aunts were shivering......well they are all at an average age of 43......hahaha....we had banana boat ride there....speedboat ride.....others went for jet sking.....after tat there was this platform where u r kinda in a open cube made from pipes....the top square had sprinklers or shower attatched....and then well we all just saw it...until my youngest aunt forced me to go there and dance.....well cuz she knew the others wont come along....btw she is my fav aunt....they were playing all the latest songs and well we just danced....people around were staring at us cuz they didnt dare....soon our whole family came....all danced while others still kept looking.....LOL...whats there too look, that platform was specificly made for dancing...so we are using it....haha....roamed arnd had fun throughout the day and then at night was a simple dinner...when we all went back to my room for drinking session and KBOX...and since it was my bday i had to sing the most numb of songs...yup tat was my birthday...it started in a theatre and ended at home KBOXing.....

then started my brothers birthday.....early morning breakfast in the resort....after which roamed around a while more, and then drive back home....at night was yet another dinner at a restraunt..all excusite dishes....oooh and well i had my martinis and champagne...btw champagne sux....too gassy....haha and my uncle was lecturing me.....you know 1glass should last you up to 40 mins....and you drink it within 10....i was like hehe okay i didnt know tat...then was cake cutting time again....CAKE NO.2....waaaa....and no one told me there was cake...meal was filliing....so bro and me cut the cake and fed all the elders...then we kids so needed a walk so went to a cafe to get coffee...well ya and i needed to neutralize the effect of the alcohol....after that home sweet home...

next day nth much....afterwhich was fly off to Ahmadabad....1hr flight....when reached their house, i was kinda shocked, cuz i didnt know that they had bought the house next to their too....so now their house was bigger in size...meet around....then went to cuzzies...talked around and enjoyed....at night was yet another cake cutting...CAKE NO.3...and well quite a number of dishes were made too...after tat had to KBOX again...again....why are they so much after my singing....LOL.....

next day...sunday...rest day....all the food and stuff...

oooh and my mum made me and my bro join tennis classes....well ok i have kinda improved compared to last time.....every morning at 8 we had to freaking wake up and go play tennis in the cold...ooops i forgot to mention....at night it gets cold to say about 22 c, while in the morning its even colder....but we kids loved it...but not the morning ones.....

few days later families from Pune came over and kinda the whole big family was gathered...was another function....danced over there too....we kidz enjoyed.....for some reason the video man kept filming us kidz, more specificly meee....lol....

next day had dinner at my grandmoms the sister's families house....and the again CAKE!!!!CAKE NO.4.....i was like no pls dun want....yes i had my birthday celebrated 4 times.....yup i do appreciate the love showered upon us but a bit too much CAKE...lol...

following day was a family outing...we had to wake up early morning 4 am to see sunrise from a lake...well yup we drove all the lake, close to 2hrs away from home....and we reached late...we had to see the sunrise inside the car, where the kids kinda were actually sleeping...reached there stretched from the long crampy, bumpy ride....then we had a boat ride....more like a sampan ride i think...where the driver actually use a long wooden pole to kinda move the boat by digging it into the ground and moving...u get the picture rite...well the boat ride was fun for the first 30min....fed the seagulls, enjoyed the nature beauty and lalala.....after which we kids had enough. the weather was getting hot....we are moving in a super slow moving boat and land is nowhere to be seen....all tired from sitting.....why CUZ WE WERE IN THAT BOAT FOR BLOODY 4HRS....imagine sitting down for 4hr....oooh and the seats we kids were given werent amazing.....no backrest....haaha asking for too much...well but our parents got!!!...LOL....

when we finally reached the land, well we ate lunch there....oooh and i forgot to tell you this lake was in a village....so yup it was village food...good things and bad things...good thing, food was super fresh...bad thing, i didnt rly like it...tasteless....well the parents liked it...they grew up eating similar kind of stuff but all the kids couldnt take it....

when we all finally reached home, i dropped dead onto the bed...all kids fell asleep...few of us kannna sick....i was the one with fever and weakness...and the other had loose motions.....lucky it was in the middle of the holidays and not beginning or ending.....slept the whole day...didnt go for tennis the next day as was still sick and having chest pains this time.....when i finally recovered, my bro and mum fell sick...bro with lose motion and fever and mum was vomitting....awesome rite....lasted 3 days...then everyone was alrite.....

new yr also celebrated there but nth big or stuff....basically sat at the terrace and talked...

next few days passed pretty slowly...cuz other half of cousins had left.....left with 2 cousins...one of them had to go for work..so only comes back at 8....so basically 3 of us slack around hang out...

The one in Pune...name is Lester...labrador....well when i arrived, he was a bit sick...vomitting, sneezing all...hes one lazy dog...didnt play much with it....and its younger than my other dog, Mario, golden retriever....it was fun to play with mario...he was very active.....and well very horny too....haha but it was very fun to play with them after so long.....
